Why Choose us

EdVenture Advisors works with you to achieve a sustainable future

We crossed paths working together. Joe, in his role as a financial advisor, and Steve, then working as provost and interim president, worked alongside one another at the University of Bridgeport to restructure debt, manage the academic inventory, ensure faculty productivity, and ensure a successful acquisition by Goodwin University. Milan, himself a former provost and president and an entrepreneur, worked with Steve on projects related to college and university mergers, acquisitions, signs of distress, and providing solutions to underlying issues. Together, we developed the concept of offering end-to-end solutions for colleges and universities in early distress or that have been facing challenges for years. As we discussed plans that led to EdVenture Advisors, we realized that all colleges and universities occasionally need outside support.

We share a vision of transforming the landscape of education consulting. The EdVenture Advisors journey moves beyond business; it is about a commitment to empowering schools to thrive amid adversity. We combine our backgrounds to craft tailored solutions that help institutions flourish, creating a legacy of resilience and growth in the ever-evolving world of education. Our partnership is a testament to the belief that with proper guidance and support, every institution can unlock its full potential and impact the lives of students and communities.

Our Mission

We partner with higher education leaders and boards to foster transformation through collaboration, innovation, and advocacy. Our mission is to outline and help implement key turnaround strategies for colleges and universities facing financial instability, emphasizing governance responses, strategic interventions, and long-term sustainability, and to ensure long-term viability in an increasingly competitive and uncertain educational landscape

Our Vision

Over the next 10 years, the higher education sector will undergo consolidation and restructuring, driven by advancements in technology, evolving societal needs, and shifting student expectations. Digital and hybrid learning models will become more widespread, with AI and personalized learning enhancing student experiences. Micro credentials and lifelong learning will gain importance as students focus on skills rather than traditional degrees, while universities collaborate more closely with industries to align education with real-world job market needs. Campuses will adapt to support both in-person and remote learning, with a focus on sustainability, diversity, and mental health. As global challenges and emerging technologies shape education, universities will play a central role in addressing complex issues and providing students with the competencies needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

We have been through this and have sat in the seat. We have helped clients find new paths.
